Computer System
A physical component or equipment of a computer system is known as hardware.
Computer hardware can be classified into three basic categories:-
Hardware:-
1. devicedevice Device
2. processing device
3. output device
Input device : The device through which we can feed the data into the computer is known as input device example keyboard mouse light pen
CPU (Central Processing Unit) :- Central Processing Unit is the computation unit of a computer. Intex part away between the input and output devices. Various components inside it that helps to perform its processing or functions.
Motherboard:- It is the basic electronics circuit Board of the computer system that various pockets and it is the basic electronics circuit Board of the computer system that various sockets and slots for attachment of different card and devices like processor display card modem Ram printer etc.
Power Supply Unit :- It contains SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) who is China coordinates the flow of smooth power supply to the computer system it receives electricity from UPS uninterrupted power supply aur Main current and supplies the required voltage to the various parts attached to it.
Processor:- It is one of the most important device in which all the calculations comparisons etc are done. It is also termed as microprocessor or CPU. Its speed is measured in mhz Megahertz, GHz Gigahertz.
## The first processor for desktop computer i.e. 4004 watch it developed by Intel in 1971.
Storage device :- in which all the data are stored is known as storage device eg- hard disk CD, DVD, pen drive etc.
Memory device
RAM (Random Access Memory) :- It is stores the data temporarily till a computer is on. It is also referred as volatile memory.
ROM (Read Only Memory) :- It stores the set of instructions permanently. It also execute series of task ( automatically ) when the computer is switched on (called booting ).
Output device :- the device that helps to display the details it is known as output device. eg- monitor printer plotter.
Software
A set of program that are needed to execution of desired work. Software does not process any physical identity. Software is the Abstract part of a computer system which runs and control the functioning of hardware. Software can be classified into software system and application software.
System software :- it is a type of software that controls the internal operation of a computer system. Eg- MS window, MS Dos, Linux, compiler, interpreter etc.
Application software :- it is set of problem which helps in performing some specified Jobs example word processor like MS Word writer presentation package like PowerPoint impress Telly
